About Nagendra Naidu Dharmavarapu

Nagendra Naidu Dharmavarapu is a farmer based in Ramagiri, Satya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh. With over 8 years of farming experience, he has been practicing organic farming methods focused on growing high-quality fruits while working in harmony with nature.

The farm spans 20 acres and is part of a larger 650-acre farming network. The orchards are spread across multiple locations, with several farms surrounded by barren land, helping minimize the risk of contamination from neighboring agricultural activities.

The farm follows natural cultivation practices without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or insecticides. Soil fertility is maintained using natural inputs such as mixed oil cakes and chicken manure, supporting healthy plant growth and long-term soil health.

Crop protection is managed through preventive and eco-friendly methods, including the use of fruit nets and protective covers. These practices help safeguard the fruits while reducing the need for external interventions.

The farm currently produces a diverse range of fruits, including nine varieties of mangoes, dates, and cherries. An avocado plantation is also being developed and is expected to begin production in the coming years.

Mangoes are harvested at the semi-ripe stage and naturally ripened in trays and crates inside enclosed dark rooms for 2–3 days. No artificial ripening agents, calcium carbide, ethylene generators, or chemical treatments are used during the ripening process.
